BROADWAY IN JACKSON OFFICIAL STATEMENT REGARDING THE 2024-2025 SEASON AT THALIA MARA HALL   

(Monday, August 26, 2024 – Jackson, MS) We are aware of the current challenges facing Thalia Mara Hall regarding the discovery of microbial growth and its HVAC system.  We have expressed our concerns to the City of Jackson and Thalia Mara Hall management that these conditions are unacceptable.  In no uncertain terms, we have told Venue Management that there can be no compromise on safety and comfort for Broadway in Jackson Season Ticket Holders, and we have passed on the concerns several of you have express to us.  

We stand with you, our most loyal supporters, friends, and guests.  This critical civic institution must be maintained at the highest standards to keep the best in live entertainment coming to Jackson, MS, and audiences coming in to enjoy it.  

Your commitment and investment in Broadway in Jackson is important and is critical to our ability to bring the Best of Touring Broadway direct from New York to Mississippi.  We will never put you or your family at risk by asking you to attend an event in a venue that is not safe and healthy.   

Your Season Ticket purchase is guaranteed safe with Broadway in Jackson. If Thalia Mara Hall is deemed unsafe or a Broadway in Jackson or Jackson Live show is cancelled, you will receive a refund for the shows affected. Broadway in Jackson is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all Broadway in Jackson guests, and we are working closely with the city of Jackson on the current issues facing Thalia Mara Hall.
